Grants covering 75% of the cost of new machinery and equipment used to manufacture alternatives to wheat flour, up to TT$340,000. Working capital and land, building, and installation costs are excluded.
Technical and financial assistance for 10 exporters or manufacturers adopting environmentally friendly packaging, including biodegradable and recyclable materials.
In-kind export-promotion support for 20 companies, covering activities such as shelf-stocking fees, shipment of product samples for tastings and in-store promotions.
Innovation vouchers valued at up to TT$200,000 support product or service development, process automation and technology acquisition through collaboration with universities, research institutions and other knowledge providers. Twenty companies are expected to benefit.
Provides partial grant funding to eligible manufacturing and agro-processing firms for international standards certification, including capacity building, specialized equipment, infrastructure modifications, audits, inspections, and certification costs.
Support for exporters to modify product labelling and packaging and reduce product-testing costs so their goods can satisfy statutory, legal and market-entry requirements. The initiative targets 50 exporters.
A one-time tax credit for approved manufacturing companies that invested in new machinery, production lines or equipment in 2023, applicable against corporation tax liability.
Corporation Tax exemption for approved manufacturing small companies, including agro-processing companies, for up to six consecutive years commencing 2023-01-01. Certificates are issued for two years and may be renewed, subject to continued eligibility.
