Micro and Small Business Grant Scheme
National Entrepreneurship Development Company Limited (NEDCO)
A non-repayable government grant providing financial support, entrepreneurial development training, business advisory sessions, and mentorship to eligible entrepreneurs in Trinidad and Tobago with a business idea, start-up, or existing business.
Eligibility
- Citizen or legal resident of Trinidad and Tobago over 18 years old
- Must have a new business idea, a registered but non-operational start-up, or an existing business
- For start-ups and existing businesses, the applicant must own at least 50% of the business
- Start-ups must forecast first-year turnover below TTD 250,000
- Existing businesses must have had turnover below TTD 250,000 during the previous 12 months
- Start-ups and existing businesses must be registered and have the applicable BIR number
- Alcohol-related businesses and illegal activities are ineligible
- Applications may be declined if the applicant operated a similar business within the previous five years, has tax or insurance arrears, or has an unspent criminal conviction
