Higher Education Loan Programme (HELP)

Ministry of Education – Funding and Grants Administration Division

A low-interest loan facility covering eligible tuition and non-tuition tertiary education expenses, including accommodation, airfare, transportation, living expenses, books and related materials.

Eligibility

Citizen of Trinidad and Tobago
Continued residency in Trinidad and Tobago for at least three years before applying
Under 50 years of age
Household income below TTD 75,000 per month
Enrolled in an ACTT-approved programme, a TVET programme at Level III or above, or qualifying postgraduate study
Applicants not eligible for GATE funding may apply
Must provide a letter of acceptance from the tertiary-level institution and other required documents
