Agricultural Finance Support Programme (Agro-Incentive Grant)

Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries

A non-repayable grant to help farmers and other eligible agricultural participants acquire new techniques, equipment and technology. Applications must include supporting quotations and be submitted through an Agricultural Development Bank branch or the Ministry’s Head Office in Chaguanas.

Eligibility

Registered farmers, fishermen, licensed woodcutters or licensed saw millers
Individuals who can demonstrate that they are currently involved in agriculture
Applicants must provide land tenure and a business plan
Applicants with expired farmer registration cards may apply if they provide evidence that the renewal process has begun
Only one application is permitted per person and per parcel of land
Applications must be endorsed by a Commissioner of Affidavits
